Cows 'n' Things is an ethical gift shop run by Age Concern and Help the Aged. We are an international charity fighting to free disadvantaged older people from poverty, isolation and neglect.

There are approximately 100 million older people in developing countries who survive on less than 50 pence a day. When disasters strike, older people are often the last priority and aid organisations do not always know how best to meet their needs. Older people are among the world's most vulnerable citizens yet they make an invaluable contribution to keeping families together when communities are depleted by conflict, HIV/AIDS, famine or drought.
